Civo is a cloud-native platform that enables developers to deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in minutes. Civo uses Kubernetes as the core technology for managing containerized workloads and orchestrating resources across Civo’s cloud infrastructure.
As part of its service portfolio, Civo wanted to launch managed database services for its developer customers. To do so, Civo would need Kubernetes operators to control and manage those database instances for customers. Civo originally considered putting together its own Kubernetes operator but quickly discovered Percona Kubernetes Operators were the best option.
