FAQs

Decommissioning of the Percona Platform Portal

General Questions

  1. What’s happening with the Percona Platform Portal?

The Percona Platform Portal (portal.percona.com) will be retired on 30th March 2026, after which it will no longer be available for service access.  Going forward, service access will continue through percona.service-now.com.

  2. Why is the Portal being retired?

We’re streamlining how customers access Percona’s services. By consolidating support into a single system, we can provide you with a more consistent, secure, and reliable experience. This change reduces complexity, ensures you always know where to go, and allows us to focus on improving the tools and services that matter most to you.

  3. I am a Percona Support / Managed Services Customer, and I access services using portal.percona.com. What should I do?

Please start using percona.service-now.com going forward, as this will be the central destination for all your Percona support and service needs. Access to portal.percona.com will end in March 2026, so we encourage you to make the switch early to ensure a smooth transition.

  4. I am unable to log in to percona.service-now.com with my registered email address. What should I do?

If you’re unable to log in, please email customercare@percona.com to request a password reactivation.

  5. Will the portal decommissioning have any impact on my SSO login through id.percona.com?

No, id.percona.com will remain active after the Portal is retired. It will continue to operate as it does today and will still be used to support secure customer logins and access to Percona services.

Impact on PMM users, Advisors & Alerts

  1. I currently log in to Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) using portal.percona.com. When the portal is retired, what happens to my PMM access?

If you’re using the portal to authenticate PMM, you will need to update your PMM login method. PMM supports the authentication methods specified in Grafana's documentation.

  2. I use PMM with Extended Advisors and/or Alert Templates connected to portal.percona.com. When the portal is retired, what happens to them?

Support Customers:  To continue using these features after the Portal is retired, you’ll need to upgrade to PMM 3.5.0 (available December 2025). In this release, Extended Advisors and Alert Templates are built directly into PMM — no portal access required. Once upgraded, you’ll have full access to built-in diagnostics and ready-to-use alerts with a simpler, more reliable setup.

Managed Services Customers: Our DBA team will handle any required upgrades for your account, as needed, to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted service.
