Bruce Momjian

Bruce Momjian is co-founder and a core team member of the PostgreSQL Global Development Group. He has worked on PostgreSQL since 1996 and has been employed by EDB since 2006. Bruce has spoken at many international open-source conferences and is the author of PostgreSQL: Introduction and Concepts, published by Addison-Wesley. Bruce holds a Masters in Education and an honorary doctorate, and lectures internationally.

Umair Shahid

Umair Shahid is the Head of PostgreSQL at Percona and a well-respected veteran of the PostgreSQL community. Based in Islamabad, Pakistan, he has been working in the PostgreSQL ecosystem for almost 20 years, contributing to the community as well as driving commercial success. He was previously the Head of Products & Marketing at 2ndQuadrant.
